Bade Acche Lagte Hai actor Nakuul Mehta announces arrival of his baby girl Rumi: ‘Sufi finally has his Rumi, our hearts are complete’

In a recent interaction, Nakuul shared that he is finding it hard to concentrate on work after birth of daughter. He told, HT City, “We are overjoyed to welcome her into our little world. It’s always the child who chooses the parent and one can’t help but feel immense gratitude that we get to do this parenting thing all over again. It’s been a couple days only and I feel almost dazed being on a set, pretending to get some serious work done whist my heart craves time with the family.”

Talking about the fact that his daughter was born on India’s Independence Day, he said, “I don’t know how to answer this without being a ball of mush! The first child, Sufi was special. But being a father to a girl hits harder. Like a friend shared with us, Rumi was born on the cusp of India getting her freedom and Janamashtami.”

While Dia Mirza, Drashti Dhami, Arjit Taneja, Neeti Mohan, Paritosh Tripathi, Shriya Saran, Bharti Singh, Kishwer Merchant, Geeta Kapur, and many others congratulated the couple, several fans also praised them for the meaningful names they chose for their little ones.

Commenting on the post, one fan wrote, “Congrats! I just want to know how you and Jankee decided to name your kids out of the box? Sufi and Rumi, I am curious.” Another user commented, “Your kids have the most beautiful names!” A third fan called them ‘Parents of the year’ for picking such beautiful names for their children.

Nakuul Mehta and Jankee Parekh had announced their second pregnancy in June this year. On the work front, Nakuul was last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hai 3. He also hosted Crime Patrol last year.
