Ankita Lokhande says she was ‘very possessive’ of Sushant Singh Rajput, recalls what happened when his Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa partner jumped on him

Isha then asked Ankita about Sushant’s partner on the show. Ankita said, “She was a very good dancer. One day while dancing, she jumped on him. Woh uske godh me chadh gayi. I was very possessive, ab mai thik ho gayi hu thoda. Ab mai normal ho gayi hu. Mujhe choti choti baaton pe bohot gussa ata tha. (She jumped in his lap. I was very possessive, now I am fine. I used to get angry about little things.)”

Lately, a video featuring Sushant Singh Rajput proposing to Ankita Lokhande on the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa stage has been circulating on the internet. In the video, Sushanr praises Ankita and says, “Tum itni khubsurat ho ke main joh pichle saat janmon mein nahi keh paaya woh agle saat minute mein kehta hoon.” Towards the end, when Priyanka Chopra insists Ankita on giving her answer to the proposal, Ankita says, “Yes I will marry you.”

Sushant and Ankita became popular with their stint on Pavitra Rishta. They broke up in 2016 after dating for almost seven years. Sushant passed away in 2020. Ankita is now married to businessman Vicky Jain, who is also a contestant on Bigg Boss 17.
