Thalapathy 69 cast reveal: Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Priyamani and Gautham Menon join Vijay-H Vinoth film 

Thalapathy 69 is set to reunite Pooja Hegde with her Beast co-star Vijay. Apart from Pooja, the film also marks the maiden collaboration between Premalu actor Mamitha Baiju and Vijay. The latest actor to join the movie, which has been announced as the last film of Vijay before he hangs up his acting boots, is Gautham Vasudev Menon. Although Gautam, as a director, hasn’t helmed a Vijay film, he has previously worked with the actor-politician in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo. National Award winner Priyamani has also joined the cast of Thalapathy 69, and it marks her first film with Vijay.

Vijay was recently seen in Venkat Prabhu’s GOAT, which is currently streaming on Netflix. The film, which was another multi-starrer with actors like Prashanth, Sneha, Laila, Mohan, Prabhudeva, and Ajmal, has become the highest-grossing Tamil film of 2024. GOAT, which is continuing its golden run in the theatres, has crossed Rs 400 crore mark globally, becoming the second-highest grosser in Vijay’s career.
