Thalapathy 64 to wrap up by February

It is well-known that team Thalapathy 64 is currently in Delhi, after shooting the first schedule in Chennai. Now, we hear that the makers are planning to wrap up the film by February, next year.

According to sources, “Lokesh Kanagaraj is working at breakneck speed”, and is looking to get the project released for the summer holidays. Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi will join the sets from December.

Touted to be the most-anticipated film of 2020, Thalapathy 64, set against the backdrop of a college, is produced by XB Film Creators. Multiple reports suggest that Vijay essays the role of a college professor who fights corruption in the film. However, an official word is awaited.

Thalapathy 64, an action-thriller likely to release in April 2020, also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Antony Varghese, VJ Ramya, Lintu Rony and Gouri Kishan among others.

The latest additions to the film are singer Soundarya Nandakumar of Vijay TV fame and Prem Kumar (who was seen in Tamannaah’s Petromax).

Centre agrees to declare Punjab ‘severely flooded’, enhanced funds on the cards
