Thalaivar 170: Lyca reiterates TJ Gnanvel and Anirudh Ravichander are part of Rajinikanth’s next

To all fans who were expecting new updates about Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, tentatively called Thalaivar 170, has to wait one more day. Though Lyca Productions teased the fans claiming that the squad of the film will be released on Sunday, the production only ended up reiterating that director TJ Gnanavelraj will direct the film and Anirudh Ravicander will compose the music. Both the developments were confirmed by the production house way back in March. Now, the official X handle of Lyca shared the posters of producer Subaskaran, Anirudh Ravichander, and TJ Gnanavel on the micro-blogging site.

Lyca has however promised that the rest of the squad will be released on Monday. The new post read, “Hope you all enjoyed today’s meal from the house of #Thalaivar170 🕴🏻 The remaining updates regarding #Thalaivar170Team will recommence tomorrow (sic)”

Many fans commented with disappointment that there were no new updates about the film. One user asked how is this an update when these developments have been common knowledge for the past few months.

Meanwhile, a poster of Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s Laal Salaam was also released today, which has Rajinikanth in an extended cameo. Other than the two upcoming projects, Rajini also has a project with Lokesh Kanagaraj, which is tentatively called Thalaivar 171.
