The teaser of Por Thozhil, starring Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan, is out, and it promises a thrilling and gory hunt for a serial killer, who is on a spree killing women. Sarath’s character in the teaser says that it is the killer’s addiction, and the murders would continue. On the other hand, we have Ashok, a newly-minted police officer, who has his own problems to deal with on top of finding the killer.

It is said that Por Thozhil has another important actor in the role of the antagonist. However, the makers have kept the name under wraps as they don’t want people to have a preconceived notion about the killer.

The teaser was supposed to be released on Monday, but due to the death of veteran actor Sarath Babu, the makers postponed the release.

Other than Sarath Kumar and Ashok Selvan, Por Thozhil also has Nikhila Vimal in a pivotal role. Jakes Bejoy has composed the background score for the film, which doesn’t feature any songs. The movie will be released on June 9.
