Amid their ongoing feud, Nayanthara and Dhanush were spotted attending producer Aakash Baskaran’s wedding on Thursday. The two actors, despite sitting in the front row, ignored each other throughout the ceremony. A video shared on Instagram by Nayanthara’s security team captured the actors sitting on opposite sides of the aisle, interacting only with their respective teams.

Nayanthara attended the event with her husband, director Vignesh Shivan. She looked elegant in a pink saree, while Vignesh donned a traditional white veshti. Dhanush also opted for a white veshti. Although both actors mingled with other guests, they refrained from acknowledging each other. A separate photo from the wedding captured actor Sivakarthikeyan greeting Nayanthara and Vignesh.

The wedding also saw the presence of music composer Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the star-studded guest list.

Nayanthara recently shared an open letter on social media accusing Dhanush of sending her a legal notice demanding Rs 10 crore for using a three-second behind-the-scenes clip from their film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan in her documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. She revealed that her team had pursued Dhanush for over two years to secure a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to use excerpts from the film. However, after receiving no response, they decided to include the brief clip, which was recorded on their personal devices.

Naanum Rowdy Dhaan holds sentimental value for Nayanthara as it was on this film’s set that she met her now-husband, Vignesh Shivan. The film was produced by Dhanush.
