Lal Salaam new promo shows off Rajinikanth’s Moideen Bhai, fans are loving his style and swag. Watch

A new promo of Lal Salaam was released on Rajinikanth's birthday.

On Rajinikanth’s 73rd birthday on Tuesday, fans got to learn the title of his next film, Vettaiyan, but not just that, they were also treated with some new footage from Lal Salaam, where he has a cameo appearance. Even though Rajinikanth has a limited appearance in the film, he is said to be the highlight of the sports drama, which is directed by his elder daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth.

In the promo, Rajinikanth appears quite fiery as Moideen Bhai. The promo teases the fans with a glimpse into a fight scene. On top of it, AR Rahman’s song Jalaali Jalaal is revealed here. The composer himself has crooned the number.

Fans loved the teaser as one of them wrote, “No one can beat Rajini sir style and his swag 🔥🥵” Another fan wrote, “Pure goosebumps thalaivar entry 🔥🤩” The teaser of Lal Salaam was unveiled a few weeks ago. The film is about how religious differences create havoc in the local cricket tournament. While Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth have played the lead roles as local cricketers at war with each other, Rajinikanth plays the local kingpin named Moideen Bhai.

Other than Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal, and Vikranth, the film also features some of Superstar’s frequent collaborators like Senthil, Livingston, and KS Ravikumar. Vivek Prasanna, Thambi Ramiah, Nirosha, and Dhanya Balakrishnan are other actors part of the film. Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev has played a cameo in the film as himself.

Lal Salaam will be released worldwide on Pongal 2024. Lyca Productions, which is bankrolling Vettaiyan, is producing Lal Salaam as well.
