Actor-politician Khushboo Sundar recently took to Instagram to share a throwback picture from the set of the cult Tamil comedy film Michael Madana Kamarajan, evoking a wave of nostalgia among fans and film enthusiasts. In her post, Khushbu expressed heartfelt sentiments about the memories created during the film’s production and paid tribute to her fellow actors, some of whom are no longer with us.

“Memories made forever! With the most talented group of actors, few of them we have lost, but their legacy will stay with us forever. Outstanding #Oorvashi overshadowed all others. The master of his art, #UlaghaNayagan @ikamalhaasan is at his best. A must watch for today’s filmmakers to learn what art of filmmaking means when technology was not at its fullest,” Khushbu captioned the photo.

The picture features the ensemble cast during the film’s climax sequence, a scene that has cemented its place as one of the epic comedic moments in Tamil cinema. Alongside Khushbu, the photo includes legends such as the late Nagesh and SN Lakshmi, whose performances remain etched in the hearts of audiences. The film also starred the versatile Urvashi, whose remarkable performance Khushboo highlighted in her post.

Michael Madana Kamarajan, directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, is celebrated for its inventive storytelling and brilliant performances. The film follows the adventures of quadruplets, all played by Kamal Haasan, who are separated at birth due to the machinations of villains. The brothers eventually come together through a series of events driven by greed and the pursuit of money, leading to a climactic reunion filled with humour and chaos.

Khushbu’s post not only serves as a nostalgic reminder of the film’s charm but also underscores the exceptional talent of its cast and crew. Her admiration for Kamal Haasan, referred to as Ulaga Nayagan (Universal Hero), and her respect for her co-stars highlight the film’s enduring legacy.
