Kangana Ranaut-Raghava Lawrence’s Chandramukhi 2 to hit screens this September, makers unveil new poster

Directed by P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 stars Kangana Ranaut, Raghava Lawrence, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushtii Dange, Ravi Maria and Suresh Menon.

Kangana Ranaut‘s Tamil film Chandramukhi 2 will release this year on the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi. The release date was announced on Thursday, with a new poster featuring Raghava Lawrence.

The poster shows Raghava looking through a peephole in a door. The announcement was made on the social media handles of production house Lyca Productions.

The caption read, “We are thrilled to announce that the doors to the much-awaited sequel Chandramukhi 2 will be open from Ganesh Chaturthi.”

Kangana also shared the new poster and wrote in the caption, “This September she is coming back … are you ready ? #Chandramukhi2”

Chandramukhi 2, directed by P Vasu, is the sequel of the 2005 film Chandramukhi, starring Rajinikanth.

Kangana Ranaut’s look was revealed a few weeks ago when a fan page of Raghava Lawrence posted a picture from the sets of the film. Kangana was dressed in the character’s get-up and donned heavy jewellery.

The film also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Vadivelu, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushtii Dange, Ravi Maria and Suresh Menon. The music of the movie will be composed by Oscar winner MM Keeravaani.

Chandramukhi 2 will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
