Kamal Haasan gives an update on Indian 2 and Indian 3: ‘I can’t make up for the lost time…’

Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan will next be seen in the much-awaited film Indian 2. Recently, Kamal revealed that the shooting of Indian 2 and Indian 3 has been completed.

In an interview with The Hindu, the actor-filmmaker, who was last seen on the big screen in the 2022 film Vikram, said, “I can’t make up for the lost time. Also, we cannot speed up production as the quantity doesn’t matter, quality does. We have completed Indian 2 and Indian 3. The post-production work of Indian 2 is currently happening. We will start work on Indian 3 post-production after we finish it.”

The actor has also been roped in for Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life. Talking about the project, he said, “The shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life will start soon after the campaign (election) ends. Also, I’ve done a cameo in a film called Kalki 2898 AD.”

Indian 2, directed by S Shankar, is the sequel to the hit 1996 film Indian. The movie also stars SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Nedumudi Venu, Vivek and Kalidas Jayaram, among others.
