After a funny promo of music director Anirudh Ravichander and Jailer director Nelson Dilipkumar, anticipation has sky-rocketed for Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Jailer. Even as fans are expecting to see more of Rajinikanth in the film, the makers have decided to delay it. However, they have come up with a song from the movie, which features Tamannaah Bhatia. The song titled “Kaavaalaa” is a mismash of Tamil and Telugu.

“Kaavaalaa” is a raunchy number, sung by Shilpa Rao, who has earlier sung “Oru Maalai Neram” from Naan Mahan Alla in Tamil. Director-lyricist Arunraja Kamraj has written the number which is more about the rhyming words and less about the meaning.

The song has again reinforced the speculation that Jailer is about a film crew shooting inside a prison with the protection of Rajinikanth’s Muthuvel Pandian.

While fans were only expecting Tamannaah Bhatia in the song, Rajinikanth made a surprise entry and he is as stylish as ever. The song also had some behind-the-scene montages.

It looks like Nelson Dilipkumar will make a comeback with Jailer, which has a huge star cast including Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishna and Sunil, among others. Jailer will be the first film of Rajinikanth in 2023, and it will be released on August 10.

After Jailer, Rajini will be seen in an extended cameo in his daughter’s film Lal Salaam. He is then expected to team up with director TJ Ganavel of Jai Bhim for Thalaivar 170.
