Idli Kadai box office collection Day 7: Idli Kadai, directed by Dhanush, has been holding strong at the domestic box office despite the competition from rival releases Rishab Shetty's Kantara Chapter 1 and Varun Dhavan starrer Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. As per Sacnilk, Idli Kadai's domestic gross stands at Rs. 40.15 crores on its seventh day of release. The village drama, also starring Dhanush in the lead role, earned a total of Rs. 1.50 crores from India on Tuesday, just below its earnings on the 6th day, which stood at Rs. 1.50 crores. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Idli Kadai is slightly falling behind Dhanush's second directorial 'Raayan', which took in a total of Rs 56.85 crores on its seventh day at the domestic market, grossing Rs 3.25 crores. However, on the brighter side, Idli Kadai has clearly outperformed Dhanush's previous directorial effort 'Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam', which only managed to reach Rs. 5.74 crores total domestic gross on its seventh day, earning just Rs. 0.54 crores.
