Here’s the revised runtime of GOAT: Is the Vijay-Venkat Prabhu film going the Mankatha way?
The latest update about Vijay-Venkat Prabhu's GOAT is that the film has been re-censored, and the runtime has been increased to 183.14 minutes.

With just days left for the release of the highly anticipated Vijay film The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), directed by Venkat Prabhu, the expectations are reaching feverish heights. Considering GOAT will mark the penultimate film of Vijay before he takes the political plunge, every minute of the film’s runtime counts, and the latest update from team GOAT has made fans a happy bunch. In an earlier update, it was revealed that the film, which has been certified U/A, would run for a total of 179.39 minutes. This was already in line with some of the other 179-minute films of Vijay, including Master and Bigil.
However, the latest update is that it has been re-censored, and the runtime has been increased to 183.14 minutes. Fans are jubilant that this increase in runtime could only mean the famous blooper reels, which is generally expected from a Venkat Prabhu film would be seen in GOAT too. One of the most famous blooper videos in Tamil cinema was undoubtedly from Mankatha, another Venkat Prabhu film, which showcased the film’s star, Ajith Kumar, in a new and rather playful light. It is now expected that GOAT’s blooper reel might be primed to satisfy fan expectations.
Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu, in an event, revealed that a special fourth single will be released soon, and speculations are that it will be out on Yuvan Shankar Raja’s birthday on August 31. GOAT, which also stars Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ajmal, will hit screens worldwide on September 5.
