An unassuming answer from actress Malavika Mohanan on X during an interaction with fans has left fans of Shah Rukh Khan and Prabhas trolling each other on the micro-blogging site. Malavika Mohanan, known for her films Master and Christy, answered questions from her fans. One user asked her thoughts about Prabhas’s upcoming film Salaar and SRK’s Dunki. Malavika’s reply led to hundreds of comments from fans of both stars fighting about which is the better film.

Malavika Mohanan said that she is excited about both the film, but would choose Salaar over Dunki as the former features Prabhas and Prithviraj. On top of that, she also liked the teaser of the movie. “Really excited for both but if I had to pick one I would say #Salaar loved the teaser & thought Prabhas sir & Prithviraj sir looked too cool in it! (sic)”

This quickly escalated to an online fan battle between the SRK faction and Prabhas. Memes, made in bad taste, featuring Salaar as a dinosaur chasing a donkey (supposed to be Dunki) were shared in the comment section. SRK fans also trolled Malavika for her answer, while Prabhas fans praised her for the same.

Here’s the tweet:

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan has restored his image as the numero uno of Indian cinema. For the past few years, South Indian films like RRR, Baahubali, and Kantara have been setting box office records across the country. Jawan’s success–the film has collected more than Rs 1000 crore from across the world–is considered as SRK’s reply to all.

Meanwhile, Malavika Mohanan, last seen in Christy, will be returning to the big screen with Pa Ranjith’s Thangalaan. She is also part of a Hindi project titled Yudhra.
