Dulquer Salmaan in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2?

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has also been tapped for a key role by the filmmakers. Rumors suggest that the actor has been offered the role of the villain in the big-budget film, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. “That is what I was told. It is the director’s call,” Kamal had said earlier.

The set production of Indian 2 began on Monday. Well-known art director T Muthuraj confirmed the news by tweeting a picture from the sets. “Kick-started Set work for Indian 2..(sic),” he wrote on Twitter.

The former assistant of acclaimed production designer Sabu Cyril has previously worked with director Shankar on Nanban and I. He has won several awards for his work in over 40 major productions.

Indian 2 is the sequel to 1996 blockbuster Indian, which helped Kamal Haasan win his third National Award for Best Actor.

Shankar recently revealed that Indian 2 will go on the floors in December.
