Chandramukhi 2 released alongside Fukrey 3 and The Vaccine War. While Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War did not make a dent on the box office, Fukrey 3 has managed to collect Rs 66.15 crore in the first eight days at the box office.

Kangana Ranaut hasn’t had a hit at the theatres in a while now as the actor’s last few releases did not yield the expected results at the box office. Dhaakad, Thalaivii, Panga and Judgementall Hai Kya were all disappointments at the box office. Her 2019 film Manikarnika had a lifetime collection of Rs 92.19 crore and since then, her films have not managed to mint any money at the box office. Manikarnika and Panga fetched her a National Award for Best Actress in 2021.

Kangana will next be seen in her directorial Emergency, where she essays the role of Prime Minister Indira Ganshi. The film is scheduled for a release on November 24. She will also be seen in Tejas, which is scheduled for a October 27 release.
