Captain Miller song Killer Killer is GV Prakash-Dhanush’s war cry, watch
Dhanush has sung "Killer Killer", which has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar and written by Kaber Vasuki.
Dhanush in Captain Miller The much-awaited song “Killer Killer” from Captain Miller is out. Dhanush has crooned the song, composed by GV Prakash Kumar and written by Kaber Vasuki, known for his now-defunct Tamil indie band Kurangan.
“Killer Killer” is a war cry against Captain Miller’s foes. The song stars with a question, “Do you believe in devils?” And the voice then says, “I am the devil.” However, he wants you to call him, “Captain Miller.” The song’s visuals also revealed that the real name of Dhanush in the film is Analeesan aka Eesa.
In Captain Miller, Dhanush is a wanted person for murder and dacoity. There is Rs 10000 bounty on his head, which is a huge sum given that the film is set in pre-independence era. “Heard you want that fight but well, here’s a war. I have tasted steel before. I have the scar. You will learn to fear my name. Your eyes will never see the same. You cannot win while I am alive. It’s not my time to die. It’s yours,” goes the English lyrics of the song, which is followed by equally charged lines, “Nee thaniya vandha thala mattum urulum (If you come alone, only you head will roll). Nee padaya vandha savamala kooviyum (If you come as an army, bodies will pile on).”
Arun Matheshwaran is known for his violent films like Saani Kaayidham and Rocky. Looks like Captain Miller is cut from the same cloth. The lyrics are enough to tell the film is going to be another bloody saga from the director.
Other than Dhanush, the film has Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shivarajkumar, and Sandeep Kishan in important roles. It will be released on Pongal 2024.
