Vidya Balan and husband Disney India’s head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur decided to do a whole data de-tox while away on a vacation.

Actress Vidya Balan, of the ‘Fourth Khan’ fame has a whole new way of dealing with the intrusive and excessive role of smartphones and the internet.

While she does believe that there is merit to social networking sites in that they connect the millions of fans directly to the stars they admire, it can sometimes be too much of a good thing.

As an antidote, Vidya Balan and husband Disney India’s head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur decided to do a whole data de-tox while away on a vacation.

Loosely translated, it means that they would cut off from internet and smartphones and check only occasionally for messages. Quite a smart way to ring in the New Year we’d say.
