Actor Shreyas Talpade is the latest entrant to join the league of Bollywood actors taking an active interest in sports. Talpade has been announced the brand ambassador of Pune Marathas team in the Vijay Amritraj promoted Champions Tennis League. The logo was unveiled by the former Commissioner of Police, Gulab Rao Pol. Talking about his association, Talpade said, “I have always been a fan of the sport and follow it closely. In fact, I always wanted to play the game, but at that time it was considered an elitist sport. Tennis over the years has seen a dramatic change not just growing by leaps-and-bound, but has also become very accessible to all in India.”
