Veteran actor Shishir Sharma will join the cast of Colors’ Shastri Sisters in a villanious avatar

Veteran actor Shishir Sharma (of Mary Kom and Fanaa fame) will join the cast of COLORS’ Shastri Sisters in a villanious avatar. He will essay the role of a corrupt politician, Lalit.
“I play the Transport Minister of Uttar Pradesh, an influential but corrupt politician who immensely loves his daughter, Karishma (Swati Kumar). He would do anything to fulfill her wishes. For instance, if Karishma tells her father that she wants to marry a boy, he will see to it that the boy marries her.”
Karishma, who is interested in Rajat (Vijayendra Kumeria) tries to manipulate him into marrying her. However, Rajat is in love with Anushka (Ishita Ganguly). Sharma makes his entry into the show this week.

Men who opened fire outside actor Disha Patani’s home killed in encounter in Ghaziabad

Two men belonging to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar Gang were killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad, suspected to be involved in the firing outside Disha Patani's residence. The duo, identified as Ravindra and Arun, were wanted in multiple cases and were spotted by the police through CCTV footage. UP CM Yogi Adityanath had directed for a speedy investigation and strict action against the perpetrators.
