Salman Khan, who in the past lent his voice for songs like Chandi ki daal pe.. for Hello Brother and Tujhe Aksa beach …for God Tusi Great Ho, has turned a singer once again. This time around, for his Eid release Kick he has the crooned for the fun dance number titled Hangover. And not just that, Khan has even lent his voice to one version of the already popular dance track Jumme Ki Raat…. And now he will soon be recording another romantic number for the film.
While talking about his singing stint, Khan said that he is happy that the song Jumme Ki Raat... sung by Mika and Palak Mucchal and composed by Himesh Reshammiya is already a chart-buster. He is amazed by the way people have taken to the song, but is still unsure what eventually clicks with the masses. “We had felt that Jai Ho had awesome music but it didn’t do too well. In this case, we were not sure how the people would receive the music but the songs have surprisingly become a hit,” says Khan, adding that the songs were released a little early to see the response of the audience.
“Had the songs not got a good response, there were chances that the film’s release could have been pushed to Bakri-eid two months later,” he added.
Producer-director Sajid Nadiadwala’s film Kick has been shot at picturesque locations in Poland, studios in Mumbai and real locations in Delhi.
