Shah Rukh Khan was in an upbeat mood at the trailer launch of Happy New Year, calling it the first heist-cum-dance film and how it was made at par with international standards. But the humourous side of the actor, would reflect in his witty remarks, when he would made digs at his own film. So when he was asked how he went about the casting, he retorted. “Actually for Abhishek Bachchan’s part we first went to Amitabh Bachchan but he refused and Abhishek came on board, when Naseeruddin Shah refused, we took on Vivaan Shan and when Aruna Irani refused, we opted for Boman Irani. And when all the other Khans refused, they came to me and that’s how all of us losers came on board Happy New Year,” dimpled the superstar sending everyone present into peals of laughter.
