After earlier reports of director Vikas Bahl being in talks with a few female actors and Alia Bhatt leading the race, a source working close on the project has confirmed that Bhatt has indeed been finalised. She will be seen playing the lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in the film, where reportedly, the duo play insomniacs. The source also mentioned that with the lead in place, the ensemble cast will soon be locked. In the last few months, Bahl attended quite a few weddings, checked out a few locations and had even gone on a recce to England, since the film’s main plot revolves around an Indian family that lands up in Europe for an exotic, destination wedding. He has reportedly zeroed in on a few locations already and if all goes well, he should be able to start filming by mid - August.
