A Mardaani inspired episode on Halla Bol Season 2

Actress Sara Khan (of Total Siyapaa fame) will play a female cop in a Mardaani inspired episode on Halla Bol Season 2. The episode will revolve around a female cop, Malvika who fights both personal and career challenges in a male dominated profession. Living a normal and happy married life to a businessman Dev along with his sister Aashi, Malvika prepare to crack her first case that involves exposing an influential industrialist, Raghav, involved in a major scandal. While, Malvika is making headway in the case, she learns that Aashi has been abducted by Raghav. Blamed by her husband for Aashi’s abduction, Malvika is suspended from work after Raghav sabotages her image before the media by labelling her as a corrupt cop. But through sheer grit and determination, Malvika saves Aashi and exposes Raghav.
Talking about her role, Sara says, “I liked the character as it’s the first time I am playing a cop. It was interesting to be a part of this story as it gives out a strong message of the struggle that women have to undergo to prove themselves in a male-dominated profession. This is a story of a strong young woman who handles her job and her family while constantly facing challenges at both home and in the workplace. I enjoyed playing the part.”
The episode will be telecast on Halla Bol Season 2, this week on Bindass.
