UI teaser: Upendra grabs attention with unique promo for his eleventh directorial

The teaser starts with a note, “Use headphones for spatial audio.” And that’s it. The whole teaser is a blank black screen with Upendra’s voiceover. He says, “Darkness, darkness everywhere. What kind of a place is this? How can one escape this darkness? If I see the light, they will kill upon hearing our voice. How to escape from here?

In the teaser, you can hear the sounds of horses running, people crying, pleading for food, and calling out for help. There are also sounds of violent fights, giving you a sense of the intense and distressing events happening beyond the dark screens. At the end, a note says, ‘This teaser is for your imagination.’

According to the synopsis, UI is an upcoming pan-India film, produced by G. Manoharan and KP Sreekanth under the banners Lahari Films LLP and Venus Entertainers.

Producer KP Sreekanth had earlier revealed in an interview that the movie might hit theatres by end of this year.
