Tamil film fraternity expresses solidarity with Jayalalithaa
More than a dozen associations representing producers, directors, actors and other industry associated union have joined the day-long protest.

Expressing their solidarity with former Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, who is convicted in a graft case by a Bangalore Special court, over 300 Tamil film actors, directors, producers and more than 3000 film workers have gathered at Marina beach on Tuesday. Film production work for the whole day has been called off till 5pm.
More than a dozen associations representing producers, directors, actors and other industry associated union have joined the daylong protest.
On Tuesday morning, Jayalalithaa’s bail petition before the Karnataka high court has been adjourned to next Monday.
