After enjoying spectacular success in India and abroad, Rajinikanth’s Kabali is showing signs of flattening out at box office. The film ended the first week on a high, after earning Rs 262 crore at worldwide box office.

Trade tracker Ramesh B tweeted, “#Kabali 1st Week World-wide Box Office: India (Nett) – ₹ 149 Crs India (Gross) – ₹ 172 Crs Overseas – ₹ 90 Crs Total – ₹ 262 Crs.”

However, Kabali’s producer S Thanu had claimed that it would be able to breach Baahubali’s records. Now that is one BO milestone Kabali has failed to achieve. Baahubali entered the Rs 500 crore club, after earning Rs 50 crore on day one of its release.
Rajinikanth’s action drama is not only enjoying a successful run in south India, but in north India as well. The Hindi version of the film has minted Rs 28 crore in north India since its release.
