Karataka Damanaka teaser: Shivarajkumar and Prabhudheva are partners in crime in this comedy drama

Karataka Damanaka is all set to be released on March 8.

Whenever Prabhudheva teams up with another hero for a film, it has always ended up as a memorable film. Kadhalaa Kadhalaa, his film with Kamal Haasan, and James Bond with Parthiban are some examples. Now, he has taken his charm to the Kannada film industry. Prabhudheva will share screen space with Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar in Karataka Damanaka. The teaser of the film was unveiled by Kichcha Sudeep and has become an instant hit.

Shivarajkumar plays the role of Karataka and Prabhudheva is Damanaka in the film. However, the two thieves go by different names and identity all through the movie. The happy-go-lucky thieves resolve to live life as hedonists, and the film is all about their journey.

Other than the two stars, the comedy drama also has Nivishika Naidu and Priya Anand in important roles. Rockline Venkatesh, who has produced the film, is also playing a key role in the movie.

Directed by Yograj Bhat, known for his films Mungaru Male and Galipatta, Karataka Damanaka has music by V Harikrishna. Cinematographer Santhosh Rai Pathaje and editor KM Prakash are part of the technical crew. Vikas, Yogaraj Bhat, and Subramanya M K have teamed up to write the film.

Earlier, talking about the movie, the director had promised an action drama with his signature comedy sequences, and the teaser seems to reinforce the same about the film.

Karataka Damanaka is all set to be released on March 8.
