Jatt and Juliet 3 trailer: Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa return in Punjab’s beloved romcom franchise

Jatt and Juliet 3 trailer: Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa star in the third instalment of the Jatt and Juliet franchise. The film releases on June 27.

Jatt and Juliet 3 box office collection Day 1: Diljit Dosanjh-starrer is the second biggest Punjabi opener of all time.

Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa are back with the third installment of their Jatt and Juliet franchise and this time, the two find themselves in Paris. Diljit and Neeru have played different versions of these characters since the franchise was first launched in 2012 and here too, Diljit plays the bumbling fool who is love with the city-bred, well-educated woman, played by Neeru.

In Jatt and Juliet 3, Neeru and Diljit are both playing cops, where she is his boss at work. He falls in love with her but their love story is interrupted when the two find themselves in Paris and she suspects him of being in love with someone else. Jatt and Juliet was never a straight-up love story but a rather comical ride where the protagonists share a love-hate relationship and ultimately come together in the end.

The 2012 film Jatt and Juliet was one of the first hits of Diljit’s career. This was also the time when his career was on the rise as a musician. In the last 12 years, Diljit has now become an international star because of his music but he continues to make movies in India. He was recently seen in Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali, which is now being seen as one of the best performances of the year, and one of the best performances of his career as well. Soon after Amar Singh Chamkila, he was seen in a cameo in Kareena Kapoor-starrer Crew, which was also appreciated by his fans.

Neeru, who was a star in Punjabi movies when she first shared screen space with Diljit in the first film of the franchise, recently turned producer with the Punjabi film Shayar. In 2023, she was seen in the much acclaimed Kali Jotta.

Jatt and Juliet 3 releases on June 27.
