Sam Smith has launched his own charity, aimed at helping young homosexuals.

Singer Sam Smith has launched his own charity, aimed at helping young homosexuals to come out to their friends and family.
The 23-year-old “Stay with Me” hitmaker, who came out as gay last year, said he wants to become a “voice for gay youth” wishes troubled youngsters look to him for help. “I would like to become a voice for gay youth in difficulty around the world. I just created a foundation,” Smith was quoted as telling French magazine Tetu.
He previously revealed he was once the victim of violence due to his sexuality. “When I moved to London I got punched in the neck walking
back from work… I was on the phone speaking quite loudly and had pink earphones on, so it was pretty clear I was gay.”
