Boy band One Direction has become Britain’s best selling artist with their latest album ‘Midnight Memories’ topping music charts of 2013, despite being released in November.

The album is the third outing of the band, which released its first album ‘Up All Night’ in 2011 and came out with ‘Take Me Home’ in 2012, reported Contactmusic.

One Direction, which comprises Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, has won four British Phonographic Industry Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards.
