1. Arijit Singh enjoys a simple life in his hometown Jiaganj in Murshidabad: In an old interview with ETimes, a close friend of Arijit said that the singer would say, “Mumbai is part of my journey. I work there and it has made me who I am today. But my heart and soul lies in Jiaganj, my birthplace.”

2. Arijit Singh has enrolled his sons in a local school: The singer’s sons go to a local school in Jiaganj as he doesn’t want them to lead a cushioned life..

7. Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran’s scooter ride: In February 2025, Arijit Singh was spotted giving English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran a scooter ride through his hometown Jiaganj in Murshidabad, West Bengal.

8. Arijit Singh, who hates being called a ‘celebrity’, was once asked about buying a car. He replied, “Car? What car? I still don’t have a car. I still travel by public transport. I take autos to travel to and fro for recordings. When in Calcutta, I take a train to go to Murshidabad and then take a cycle rickshaw to my house.”

In an old interview, singers Ikka and Raftaar discussed Arijit Singh’s simple lifestyle despite his immense earnings. On a podcast, Raftaar remarked that while many in the music industry flaunt their wealth, Arijit, who surpasses most in financial success, remains humble.

Ikka added, “The amount of money he (Arijit) makes is staggering, yet the person he is remains grounded. People in the music industry may consider themselves wealthy and often display it—ourselves included—but Arijit could easily have 100 of us for lunch.”
