The 20-year-old Canadian singer posted a picture of himself, with a caption explaining that his break from the spotlight has been “for a reason”.

“My break is for a reason. You will soon see… thank you for your patience,” he wrote.

Bieber hasn’t had a complete break from music, having released a duet with Cody Simpson called ‘Home to Mama’.

He has also recorded vocals for a house and trap remix of Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’.

The singer recently lost more than 3.5 million fake Instagram followers in a mass clear-out by the social media site.

It has also been revealed that Bieber made around USD 80 million in the last 12 months, according to Forbes’s annual list of the highest-earning celebrities under 30.
