Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda is on ventilator support at Fortis Hospital in Mohali after suffering serious head and spine injuries in a motorcycle accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district. During a recent concert in Hong Kong, singer Diljit Dosanjh paused to pray for Rajvir.

During his concert, Diljit urged fans to keep Rajvir in their prayers. He emphasized the power of prayer, describing Rajvir as “a very dear brother” and “a beautiful singer”.

In a clip shared by Diljit Dosanjh’s team on Instagram, he can be heard saying in Hindi, “Please pray for him. Prayers have a lot of impact. He should get well soon. He should come back to us, back on stage. He is a very beautiful singer, Rajvir Veera.”

Diljit was visibly emotional as he praised Rajvir’s character, noting that the young artiste has stayed away from controversies and won hearts with his performances and humility. The singer-actor added, “When you pray for someone with a true heart, he will definitely fulfil your prayers.”

On Monday, Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann shared an update on Rajvir Jawanda’s health after visiting Fortis Hospital in Mohali. He told reporters, “Rajvir Jawanda was the victim of a terrible road accident. He has been undergoing treatment here since yesterday. His fans worldwide are praying for his recovery. Today, I met with his family and doctors. His condition is better than yesterday,”

Earlier, Diljit Dosanjh took to social media to express his concern for Rajvir. He wrote, “Praying for @rajvirjawandaofficial Veera. Just heard about the accident news.”
