Coldplay Mumbai concert: Chris Martin chants ‘Jai Shri Ram’, gives a shout-out to Jasprit Bumrah. Watch

The band performed their iconic songs “Fix You” and “A Sky Full of Stars,” among others. Mid concert, Chris said, “Hold on, we have to finish the show because Jasprit Bumrah wants to come and play backstage. He says he needs to bowl at me now.” The unexpected shout-out to Bumrah sparked excitement among cricket fans in the audience.

After their performance, Chris Martin was also heard thanking his fans in Hindi by saying “Shukriya,” followed by “Jai Shri Ram”. He said this when he was reading placards that his fans held up during the concert. One of the placards read ‘Jai Shri Ram’.

Coldplay will be also performing tonight at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, followed by another performance on Monday. The band will then move to Ahmedabad and perform on January 25 and 26, respectively, at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
