BTS’ V makes appearance at a soccer match; ARMY is in awe of his short hair, glasses look. Watch

BTS' Kim Taehyung aka V was all smiles as he attended a soccer match with his fellow mates. The singer enlisted with the military in December last year.

BTS’ member Kim Taehyung aka V is currently serving in the Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps. V, who joined the military in December 2023, surprised fans on March 31 by attending a soccer match. Fans were gushing in excitement after watching the singer on the electronic display at the stadium.

V attended a match between Gangwon and FC Seoul, where he was featured on the electronic display at the stadium before kickoff. The crowd cheered as they saw V, with his short hair and wearing a combat uniform, while BTS’ hit song Dynamite played in the background. V also sported a pair of black glasses, leaving fans in awe.

According to Allkpop, the match between Gangwon FC and FC Seoul took place on March 31 as part of the 2024 K League 1 Round 4. It was held at the Chuncheon Songam Sports Town. One of the fans wrote, “tae looks like a teenager with this short hair.” Another fan said, “omg i feel like it’s been years since i saw him live. Bring him back.”

BTS members RM and V started their military service on the same day. The duo have finished their training at the Nonsan Training Centre with top honours and they will now move on to fulfil their duties at the training camp. All seven members of the boy band are currently serving in the military. 

A few days ago, V took to his Instagram handle and checked with his fans. He wrote,  “ARMYs, you haven’t forgotten about me, right? I’m still here, okay? Please think of us from time to time, alright?”
