BTS’ RM shares empowering words with fan on weight gain: ‘It always comes and goes, just look at me’
In a recent chat with his fans on Weverse, BTS leader RM revealed that he misses his band members after they announced a hiatus in 2022. The singer also gave advice to his fan on weight gain.

Being a global pop star comes with its own stress and, in a recent conversation with fans, BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon spoke about the same. During a conversation with fans, the singer also revealed that he misses his band members — Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V aka Kim Taehyung and Jungkook.
RM recently chatted with fans on Weverse. An X (formerly known as Twitter) user quoted a fan telling RM about how stressed he is because of a test and thanked the singer for chatting with his fans on Weverse. RM replied to his fan and said, “It is okay, I was like that too. Even at 30, every day is a test.” When a fan expressed how much they miss seeing all the BTS members together, the singer responded by saying, “I miss (BTS) too.”
The singer even gave advice to one of his fans who expressed his worry about gaining weight. Drawing from his personal experience, the singer said, “It’s okay, it always comes and goes (the weight), just look at me.” During the conversation, RM also shared that it’s been an eventful year for him and that he remains the ‘optimistic’ person that he is. He added, “I have so much love.”
K-pop group BTS announced their hiatus in 2022 amid mandatory military service and fans have been waiting for their return since then. In an earlier live session on Weverse, RM promised ARMY fans a group reunion in 2025. He said, “What I’m thinking right now is, these days, when I’m doing my solo projects, is, this is just like a vacation to get back to where I was, which was BTS and ARMY. So, all the solo [work] is just a journey, but it is a very important journey for chapter two. It’s a journey to get back home safe, eventually, when we get back and reunite together in 2025,”
