BTS’ Jimin wishes fans on Lunar New Year, gives update about Jungkook’s health: ‘Don’t worry too much…’
Jimin penned a sweet message for his fans on Weverse, and wished them good luck on the occasion of Lunar New Year.

All seven members of BTS have officially started their mandatory military service in South Korea, with plans to reunite as a group in 2025. Jimin recently took to his Weverse account and wished his fans a happy Lunar New Year. Jimin also gave an update about Jungkook., and said that he is doing fine.
Translated by a fan, Jimin wrote, “ARMYs, it’s Lunar New Year! I hope you have a happy Lunar New Year and I hope you’ll stay healthy and won’t get sick this year. I hope that this year will be filled with nothing but happiness. Jungkook and I are doing well, so don’t worry too much. I’ll make sure to come back again! Eat lots of delicious things and don’t go on a diet today.”
Fans excitedly reacted to the news; one of them wrote, “Thank you Jimin! We love you and we miss you so much.”

It was recently reported that Jimin’s father has hung a transparent letterbox outside his café, Magnaté. This letterbox is intended for ARMYs, fans of BTS, who visit the café and wish to leave letters or messages.
Jin was the first to start his military service, in December 2022, shortly after his 30th birthday. J-Hope followed in April, while Suga began his service on September 22, 2023. RM and V commenced their mandatory service on December 11, 2023. Jimin and Jungkook, joined them a day later, on December 12.
