Just two days prior to its intended theatrical premiere, the release of the upcoming film Live, helmed by director VK Prakash, has been rescheduled. However, the rationale behind the decision to delay the release is currently undisclosed. Despite the film's cast engaging in active promotion of the movie until yesterday, confidently declaring the film will hit screens on May 12, the makers on Wednesday announced the postponement of the film. This announcement was made by unveiling a new poster on the movie's official social media accounts. Starring Mamta Mohandas, Soubin Shahir, Shine Tom Chacko, and Priya Prakash Varrier among others, Live will now be released on May 26. The teaser of the movie, which was released on YouTube a month ago, also managed to capture people’s attention. Known for his unconventional filmmaking style and his dalliance between commercial and independent cinema, V K Prakash’s last directorial venture was Oruthee, starring Navya Nair, Saiju Kurup, and Vinayakan.
