Kasargold trailer: Asif Ali, Vinayakan film sheds light on dark side of Kerala’s gold-smuggling scene

As is typical in movies centred around smuggling and illicit activities, complications arise here too, with the trailer offering a glimpse of the film’s diverse characters and their ensuing challenges.

The promo promises that the movie will feature a well-balanced blend of style and action, ensuring an engaging viewing experience.

While Asif Ali adopts a stylish persona here in floral attire, Sunny Wayne is shown as the one who can navigate challenges with ease, and Vinayakan exudes an intimidating presence.

Kasargold will also witness Asif and Sunny sharing the screen after a gap of over one year. The two were last seen together in Rajeev Ravi’s procedural drama Kuttavum Shikshayum.

Mridul Nair’s actioner Kasargold stars Asif Ali, Vinayakan and Sunny Wayne in the lead roles.

Bankrolled by Vikram Mehra, Siddharth Anand Kumar, Suraj Kumar and Rinny Divakar, Kasargold’s script and dialogues have been penned by Sajimon Prabhakar and director Mridul Nair himself. While Jebin Jacob has handled the movie’s camera, its visuals have been edited by Manoj Kannoth.

Filmmaker Muhsin Parari and Vaishak Sugunan have penned the lyrics for the songs in Kasargold composed by Vishnu Vijay and Niranj Suresh. The film’s background score has been set by Vishnu Vijay.
