Bramayugam box office collection remained steady on day five as the Mammootty-starrer passed the crucial Monday test. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the horror-thriller earned Rs 1.65 crore on its first Monday in India. The numbers are excellent, as Bramayugam managed to maintain a drop of less than 50 percent from its opening day figures (Rs 3.1 crore). After its four-day extended weekend, where Sunday recorded its highest figures so far (Rs 3.85 crore), the India nett total of Bramayugam stands at Rs 14.40 crore.

The film benefitted heavily from positive reviews and word-of-mouth, which helped it perform overseas as well. While the India gross of Bramayugam stood at Rs 15.1 crore in three days, its overseas gross stood at an impressive Rs 16 cr. The film’s total global gross stands at over Rs 33 crore.

In India, the film performed best in Kottayam, with occupancy of around 54 percent on Monday. It held particularly well in Mumbai and the Delhi-NCR regions, where it recorded an occupancy of 20 and 21 percent, respectively.
