Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7: Mohanlal returns in style as the host of the reality show

On Friday, the makers of the reality show Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 shared an announcement teaser which confirmed the return of Mohanlal as the show's host.

Superstar Mohanlal is returning as the host of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7. On Friday, the makers of the reality show shared an announcement teaser which confirmed the return of the megastar as the show’s host.

In the teaser, Mohanlal makes a stylish entry on a Bullet bike, dressed in an all-black outfit. He looks straight into the camera with attitude and says, “Come on.” The announcement video quickly grabbed fans’ attention, with many praising his swag and powerful introduction.

Previously, Asianet shared that it is accepting applications from commoners in the upcoming season. In a social media post, the channel wrote, “Attention #BiggBoss Fans…Dreaming of entering the Bigg Boss house? Here’s your golden chance!”

Commoners, who are interested in Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, must follow Asianet and MyG on Instagram and upload a 3-minute video (up to 50 MB) explaining why they deserve a spot on the show at bb7.jiohotstar.com.

This is not the first time when Bigg Boss Malayalam allowed commoners to participate in the show. In season 5, Gopika Gopi entered the show. In season 6, they accepted Nandana, Nishana N, and Resmin Bai.

Mohanlal has been the host of the show since its inception in 2018. The most recent season aired from March to June 2024, featuring 19 contestants. Jinto emerged as the winner.
