In an interview after her win, Anumol acknowledged that she had paid Rs 1 lakh for PR support.
Her statement comes amid allegations that she had spent Rs 16 lakh on a larger PR campaign to shape public perception and influence the narrative around other contestants.
In an interview post her win, Anumol told Asianet, "I learned what is life again. It would have been a great loss if I hadn’t participated in Bigg Boss. Everyone should experience being part of Bigg Boss at least once in their lifetime."
During the finale, Aryan Kathuria was crowned the Best Task Performer of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7.

A note shared on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 winner Anumol’s Instagram broadcast channel informed fans that she will be arriving at the Trivandrum Domestic Airport at 5 pm on November 10.
During Anumol’s time on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7, she faced allegations of orchestrating a PR campaign outside the house to shape her public image and undermine other contestants.
Responding to the accusations and Anumol’s win, her PR manager Vinu Vijay told reporters, "If you look at the voting graph, you will understand who was actually doing PR. I have not done any PR work. The votes reflect what a contestant has done or not done inside the house. It is based on their gameplay. The vote trends for Aneesh and Shanavas shifted according to how they played. The entire system depends on how a contestant performs."
He added, "In the final week, the only thing that matters is the votes. Many people, including Thoppi, made strong efforts to ensure Aneesh’s victory. But ultimately, Anumol won because of the support and affection of mothers and family audiences."
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 fourth runner-up Akbar Khan took to Instagram and wrote, "My dear ones…This journey does not end here. Beyond all the games, my true self and my love will be recognized. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me until now."
Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 winner Akhil Marar took to Instagram and wrote, "I express my gratitude to Thoppi and former contestants who made Anumol win. My best wishes to Anumol, Aneesh, Shanawas, Akbar, and Nivin."
The post comes in the wake of reports that Thoppi (YouTuber Mohamed Nihad), along with several former Bigg Boss contestants, had extended their support to Aneesh over Anumol in an effort to help him secure the Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7 trophy.
