Aadujeevitham box office collection day 6: Prithviraj-starrer outperforms Crew on first Tuesday, aims for Rs 80 crore worldwide
Aadujeevitham box office collection day 6: Prithviraj's survival drama will aim to pass the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide in its second weekend of release.

Aadujeevitham box office collection for day six saw the Prithviraj Sukumaran-starrer stabilising after a massive extended weekend and passing the crucial Monday test. On its first Tuesday, the film earned a strong Rs 4.50 crore, as reported by industry tracker Sacnilk. The Tuesday collections for the survival drama dropped by nearly a crore from Monday, but the figures don’t indicate an alarming dip. In fact, Aadujeevitham has found its groove at the box office, as the Blessy-directed feature is now likely to cruise at the same pace to end its first week of release on a triumphant note before it heads into its second weekend.
The six-day total of Aadujeevitham stands at Rs 40.40 cr, and by the end of week on Thursday, it will be closer to Rs 50 cr mark, setting itself up for a big jump next weekend.
The Tuesday collections of Rs 4.50 cr aren’t just far superior to those of similar Malayalam-language hits, but they are even ahead of the the Bollywood film Crew. The Hindi comedy, headlined by Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, clocked Rs 3.50 cr on Tuesday, according to Sacnilk, while the Hollywood biggie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire netted Rs 4.75 cr.

Both films, however, clocked these numbers on their fifth day, while Aadujeevitham managed to put up its collection–which is ahead of Crew– on day six, as it was released on Thursday. Even though official figures are awaited, the worldwide gross of Aadujeevitham is likely to be over Rs 75 cr after Tuesday’s collections.
Aadujeevitham is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel of the same name by Benyamin and follows the life of Najeeb Muhammed, who, employed as a goatherd against his will, survives in a slave-like situation in the middle of the Saudi desert.
