K-drama star Go Min Si breaks silence on school bullying claims, denying all accusations. The Sweet Home actor vows to fight until the truth is revealed,

K-drama star Go Min Si, after facing heavy cancellation calls and boycott, has finally spoken out on the school bullying accusations made against her earlier this year. On August 29, the Sweet Home actor shared a long post on social media, saying she had waited patiently for the results of the official investigation but decided it was time to speak up for the fans who had been waiting for her response. “While waiting these past few months for the results of the investigation, I have no clue how many times a day I’ve had to shove down the emotional turmoil that would fill to the brim,” she wrote on her Instagram.

Go admitted she had been a reckless teenager who often acted out in school, but made it clear she was never involved in bullying. “I have set myself on a path of honesty with the intention to live a better life, even if it’s not perfect. The gossip and rumours are mine to endure, and I’ve let them be. But my imperfect past is no reason for me to accept false accusations raised against me.” She added that there is no proof beyond anonymous online posts and that she has already submitted all necessary evidence to the police to clear her name. “I swear in all sincerity when I say that I have never committed school violence.” She continued, “while I admit that it is difficult to present definitive evidence in cases such as school bullying, I am nonetheless presenting any form of evidence that I can to prove that I was never a ‘perpetrator’ of school violence in any form. The investigation is still ongoing, and I will press on until the truth is revealed, no matter how much time it takes.

Further, the actor stressed that she won’t stop fighting until the truth comes out. “Even if it takes time, I will not give up. Fabricating school bullying stories to ruin someone is cruel,” she wrote. “It is my dire hope that everyone will come to realise just horrendous the world of the internet is, where people will say whatever they want, and make assumptions and conclusions as they see fit, regardless of the actual factuality of the matter.”
The controversy first broke out in May when a post titled “We Are Victims of Actor Go OO’s School Violence” appeared on a Korean forum. The timing was brutal as it came just days after her Netflix drama Tastefully Yours with Kang Ha Neul aired, and the scandal overshadowed the show. The post revealed personal details that left no doubt the target was Go Min Si, even pointing to her original name. Things took a turn for the worse when another person, identified only as “A,” was dragged into the claims, sparking backlash and even doxxing. The accuser alleged that during her school days, Go not only extorted money from classmates but also verbally abused them and tormented the differently-abled, adding that teachers and parents were well aware of it.
“I don’t want any apology or compensation,” the author of the post wrote at the time. “What I want is for this actor to end her public activities permanently so no further victims are created.” The anonymous user continued, “There’s no need for a belated, performative apology to avoid contract disputes. If the actor truly feels remorse, she should step away from the spotlight and live the rest of her life sincerely regretting her past actions.”
At the time, Go Min Si’s agency, Mystic Story, immediately denied the claims, calling them “baseless and clearly false.” They also announced that they were taking strict legal action against those spreading the rumours. Go ended her statement with a warning about the damage online speculation can cause: “Groundless rumours can destroy a person. The truth will come out.”
