‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ casts Donnie Yen

Martial arts icon Donnie Yen, best known for his role in “Ip Man”, will face off agianst Vin Diesel in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”.
Martial arts icon Donnie Yen, best known for his role in “Ip Man”, will face off agianst Vin Diesel in “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage”.
The movie, which also has Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone, will see Yen play an alpha-warrior named Xiang in the hotly anticipated sequel, a release said.
The movie is currently being shot in Toronto and the Dominican Republic this month for Revolution Studios, Roth Kirschenbaum Films, One Race Films and Paramount Pictures.
Yen is the latest celebrity to join the production after Deepika, Tony Jaa, Ruby Rose, Conor McGregor, Nina Dobrev, Kris Wu, Hermione Corfield, Toni Collette and Samuel L Jackson.
“I Am Number Four” helmer D J Caruso is directing “xXx”.
