After announcing their dreamy engagement earlier this week, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have now made their first public appearance as an engaged couple. On Thursday, the global pop icon was spotted alongside the NFL star at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where they attended the college football showdown between the Cincinnati Bearcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Kelce played for the Bearcats during his time at the University of Cincinnati. Kelce and Swift sparked dating rumours in September 2023 when they appeared at the same stadium to see Kelce’s Chiefs thump the Chicago Bears.

Swift embraced her signature preppy-meets-chic style for the outing. She was seen in a white sweater vest paired with a light-wash pleated denim mini skirt, completing the look with knee-high off-white boots. Kelce, on the other hand, opted for a sporty-casual vibe in a red-and-white polo shirt and a quirky Bearcats cap. The couple was joined by Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his brother Jason Kelce.

When Taylor Swift announced her engagement to Travis Kelce

The couple officially revealed their engagement on Tuesday through a joint Instagram post. Sharing a carousel of dreamy pictures from a floral-filled garden proposal, they captioned it playfully: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The announcement quickly broke the internet, with fans and celebrities flooding the post with congratulatory messages.

When Taylor Swift opened up about her relationship with Travis Kelce

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift made her much-anticipated debut on the New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis and Jason Kelce. During the episode, she not only announced her upcoming 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, but also opened up about her growing bond with Travis. “I knew that he wasn’t crazy the first couple of times that we talked,” she said with a laugh. “He was truly getting to know me in a way that felt natural, pure, and normal.”
