Stars of Stranger Things pull back the curtain and talk about one last ride in new video, watch
Stars of Netflix show Stranger Things talks about their experience working on the fan-favourite web series and what drew them to the story.

One of the most prized ponies in Netflix’s stable of shows is Stranger Things, and is about to run its last lap. The fifth and final season will premiere on the platform on November 26. Netflix recently released a video featuring several cast members, who reflected on their journey over the past five seasons.
The video obviously opened with Matt Duffer, who is the co-creator of that show along with his brother Ross Duffer. He said, “There is something special about childhood, and we wanted to do what we could to capture that feeling.” Ross added, “That ultimately is the heart of the story of Stranger Things.” David Harbour, who was last seen playing Red Guardian in the Thunderbolts*, talked about reading the pilot of the show and said, “That was one of the best pilots I ever read. It felt so pure and beautiful.” Noah Schnapp pointed out that all of them were just random kids from different places who loved their characters and the story.

Charlie Heaton, who plays Jonathan Byers, said, “We have been doing it for such a long time, and we have grown up as a family.” Veteran star Wynona Ryder revealed the biggest gift the show ever gave her was the opportunity to watch these kids grow up. Joe Kerry summarised the reason why the show is such a big hit among audiences even after 4 seasons and said that a “popular guy, nerd, teacher, parent, Russian scientist” – anyone can feel like an outcast and that this show is about “bringing all those people together.” Several other stars, such as Millie Bobby Brown and Maya Hawke, reiterated that the fifth season is going to be bigger than ever and that everyone in the cast has been thrown into the thick of it.
Ever since its first season, Stranger Things has only grown in size, be it the expansiveness of the story, the nature of the evil that threatens them, or the amount of people who look at the ‘new episodes’ tagline and just jump at the opportunity to see all those characters back together. Several popular shows like Modern Family or Two and a Half Men last for years on end, and the audience feel connected to them because the characters grow up with them. In the era of web series and shows getting cancelled left, right and centre, Stranger Things has persevered through, and the excitement for the final season is already through the roof.
