Selena Gomez-Benny Blanco wedding: Property worth Rs 728 crore booked for celebrations, Taylor Swift flies in to be the ‘flower girl’ 

The property was purchased by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen for $82.2 million (Rs 728 crore) in July 2025. The premium property has 90 rooms, with each costing around $3500 a night (Rs 3.1 lakh), as reported by Page Six. According to the same report, Selena and Blanco have booked the entire hotel for the wedding. If the aforementioned price is taken into consideration, the couple will be paying Rs 2.7 crore for every night their guests stay.

Will Taylor Swift be the flower girl at BFF Selena Gomez’s wedding?

While there is a lot of speculation over the guest list, Page Six has released the names that are expected to be at the wedding. Taylor Swift has already arrived in California for the festivities, but her fiancé Travis Kelce is going to miss the celebrations as his team, The Kansas City Chiefs, has a game on Sunday. Back when Selena announced her engagement, Taylor had declared that she would want to be the flower girl at the wedding.

Paris Hilton is going to be attending the celebration with husband, Carter Reum. Selena’s co-stars from Only Murders in the Building, Steve Martin and Martin Short are also on the guest list, but it is still unclear if Meryl Streep will be part of the wedding. Meryl is rumoured to be dating Martin Short.

Paris Hilton will also be a part of the wedding party.

The bridesmaids are made up of Selena’s closest friends, including Ashley Cook, Raquelle Stevens, Courtney Lopez, and Priscilla DeLeon. However, actor Francia Raisa, who donated her kidney to Selena in 2017, has not yet been confirmed as a part of the bridal party.

Blanco and Selena were a part of each other’s lives years before they ever became close friends or started dating. Blanco, who is a record producer, has worked with two of Selena’s ex-boyfriends, including Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. The couple worked together for many of Selena’s songs as well, including hits like ‘Kill Em With Kindness’, ‘Same Old Love’ and her song with Cashmere Cat, ‘Trust Nobody’.

In December of 2023, Selena confirmed that she and Blanco had been dating each other for the past 6 months. Just a year later, Selena posted a picture on her Instagram wearing an engagement ring. The announcement went viral, and Taylor even commented that she will be the flower girl.

The couple have been pretty public about their love for each other, even though Selena is notorious for keeping her life private. When some fans questioned the relationship between the two, Selena actually replied to their comments and wrote, “Then why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

During an appearance on the Apple Music 1 podcast, Selena talked about her relationship with Benny and said, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you. And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in. But I’d have to say overall, it’s the safest that I feel, and it’s been really lovely, and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome.”

Benny also never misses the chance to talk about his partner and during an appearance on the Howard Stern Show he said, “When I look at her…I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this. People always said this to me, when you know you meet your best friend, she truly is my best friend.”
